Xalq Bank Increases Charter Capital by Over 31 Million AZN to Support Strategic Growth
One of Azerbaijan’s leading financial institutions, Xalq Bank OJSC, has increased its charter capital by 31,002,762 AZN, bringing the total to 446,599,506 AZN. The capital increase was achieved by raising the nominal value of the bank’s shares from 114.48 AZN to 123.02 AZN.
The move is aimed at ensuring the Bank’s sustainable growth, enhancing the effectiveness of its risk management policies, and supporting the strategic goals outlined in its 2024–2026 Development Strategy. The increased capital will also expand the Bank’s operational and lending capabilities.
Founded in 2004, Xalq Bank has established itself as one of the region’s most reliable and dynamically developing financial institutions. According to recent quarterly figures, the Bank currently boasts 3.4 billion AZN in assets, a 1.9 billion AZN loan portfolio, and 2.4 billion AZN in deposits, making it one of the largest private banks in the country.
