Xalq Bank Participated in a Tree-Planting Campaign

On November 4, Xalq Bank employees participated in another tree-planting campaign held in the Mushfigabad settlement.

The campaign is being carried out within the framework of the “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Tree-Planting Activities on the Occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev,” signed on March 13, 2023, between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Central Bank), the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), the Azerbaijan Capital Markets Association, and the Azerbaijan Fintech Association (AzFina).

As part of the project, a total of 1 million trees are planned to be planted over a 10-year period starting from 2023, with 100,000 trees planted annually.

The campaign is part of Xalq Bank's corporate social responsibility initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
